W.R.
"Butch" Winters
Chief Executive Officer
Butch Winters is a veteran
of the IT industry, with nearly 20 years experience in a variety
of sales, marketing, and executive roles for leading high technology
and telecommunications companies. Before joining ROI Direct, Mr.
Winters served as Division President of c2o Interactive Architects
at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), the business unit that spearheaded
EDS' strategic, technical, and e-commerce Internet client initiatives
from 1995 through 1998.
Among his other accomplishments at
EDS, Mr. Winters served as Vice President of Sales for the Client-Server
business unit, where he was instrumental in growing that unit from
$25 million to $1 billion in annual revenues from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Winters is experienced in
managing successful, rapidly growing organizations and in building
and managing professional consulting, sales, marketing, and technical
teams.
Mr. Winters is a graduate of Southern
Methodist University, where he earned a bachelor degree in Marketing
and Computer Science, as well as a bachelor degree in Radio, Television,
and Film.
Joseph
Girata
Chief Financial Officer
Joseph Girata has
a stellar history of managing the financial growth of both Internet
technology companies and rapid-growth companies in the semiconductor
and software industries. He has a proven track record in venture
capital financing, public offerings, company and product acquisitions,
and worldwide expansion. Mr. Girata joins ROI Direct from PaymentNet,
Inc., an Internet-based transaction processing company, where he
was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Girata previously served as VP
and CFO of CONNECT, Inc., an electronic commerce software company,
for whom he completed a successful initial public offering. In addition,
Mr. Girata served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Walker Interactive
Systems, where he played a key role in the global expansion of the
company.
Mr. Girata began his career at Ernst
& Young and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California
State University, Hayward.
David
A Williams
Vice President of Marketing
Dave Williams has
nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, strategic alliances,
and business development in the IT industry. Before joining ROI
Direct, Mr. Williams held executive positions in strategic relations,
sales, and business development at Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
As a Divisional Vice President for EDS' Internet & New Media
business unit, Mr. Williams was responsible for EDS' successful
alliances with such companies as Microsoft, Netscape, Sun Microsystems,
and Oracle.
During his eight years as a sales executive
with EDS' Client-Server Business Unit, Mr. Williams earned numerous
awards for his sales to major corporate accounts. Before coming
to EDS, Mr. Williams held product marketing and sales positions
with Carterfone Communications Corporation, a subsidiary of Cable
& Wireless, PLC, and Harris Corporation's Data Communications
Division.
Mr. Williams is an honors graduate
of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business,
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, with
a concentration in Marketing.
Jeffrey
Clayton
Vice President of Business Development
Jeff Clayton, Vice
President of Business Development, has over 15 years of experience
leading organizations in the retail, manufacturing, and financial
services industries toward better performance and increased capabilities
in their data warehousing, enterprise development, and management
consulting. Mr. Clayton has helped clients develop the technical
infrastructure, business practices, and enterprise customer relationship
strategies for effectively acquiring and retaining customers.
Before joining ROI Direct, Mr. Clayton
held management positions in consulting and sales with several leading
campaign management and direct database marketing companies, including
Prime Response, Inc., Data National Corporation, dbIntellect, and
Fidelity-Broadway & Seymour Asset Management Technologies. Most
recently, during his tenure at Prime Response, Mr. Clayton worked
with Fortune 500 clients to select and integrate best-of-breed tools
in campaign management and decision support.
Dennis
Bell
Vice
President, Operations & Implementation Services
Dennis Bell has designed the infrastructure
for and managed the operations of a variety of e-mail, data networking,
and voice communications service organizations. Prior to designing
and operating ROI Direct's technical infrastructure, Mr. Bell created
the technical services group that supported more than 800 corporate
customers and 450,000 end users at Fabrik Communications, Inc.
Previously, Mr. Bell was a designer
and project manager for major corporate network infrastructure projects
in the San Francisco Bay area. These included the new headquarters
projects for Altera Corporation and Ascend Communications. He also
directed the telecommunications department at Santa Clara University,
planning and implementing its fiber-optic infrastructure, PBX telephone
system, voice mail, cable TV, and data networking.
Mr. Bell graduated summa cum laude
from the University of Californina at Davis, with degrees of Bachelor
of Science and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Steve
Auerbach
Vice President, Human Resources
Steve Auerbach brings
to ROI Direct an extensive background of 20+ years in officer-level
human resources and administrative positions, in both the high tech
and financial services sectors.
Mr. Auerbach most recently served as
Vice President of Human Resources for Internet e-commerce software/service
companies PaymentNet, Inc. and CONNECT, Inc. At both these companies,
Mr. Auerbach contributed significantly to the building of HR infrastructures
and the management of rapid-growth companies.
Mr. Auerbach holds a Bachelor of Arts
in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles and an Executive
MBA from Golden Gate University.

Scott Fowler
Vice President of Account Operations
Scott Fowler has over
14 years of operational management experience in database marketing,
management consulting, technical services, and account management.
He has proven himself adept at establishing successful client relationships,
managing rapidly growing organizations, and implementing effective
marketing strategies. Mr. Fowler comes to ROI Direct from eNFLUENCE
Marketing, a provider of strategic marketing consulting services,
where he served as Founder and President.
Prior to that position, Mr. Fowler
was Chief Operating Officer for Data National Corporation, a direct
database marketing company serving Fortune 500 clients. At DNC,
Mr. Fowler was responsible for all of the company's operations,
including professional services, account management, information
technology, product development, and fulfillment. He was instrumental
in developing the business models, client relationships, and technology
strategies that enabled the company to experience an annual revenue
growth of 250 percent.
Mr. Fowler holds a Bachelor of Science
in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA
from the University of Colorado. He teaches Interactive Marketing
at the University of Denver.
Audie
W. Hofmann
Vice President of Sales
Audie Hofmann joined
ROI Direct in September, 1999 with the acquisition of OnPoint, Inc.
Since 1994, Audie has been actively involved in the strategic development
and marketing of e-commerce business systems. Specifically, Mr.
Hofmann brings to ROI Direct a keen and unique understanding of
how customers and partners can maximize their e-commerce success
through the use of ROI Direct's full suite of services.
Mr. Hofmann began his career in 1975
in Vancouver, Canada, where he served as President and CEO of Dakota
Development Co. Ltd., a successful direct marketing company and
pioneer in the field of Internet commerce. During his tenure at
Dakota, Mr. Hofmann grew the company from 30 to over 1000 employees
and increased sales by over 600%. He is a seasoned executive who
has built numerous strategic relationships with Fortune 1000 corporations,
as well as successful companies in the middle-market.
Chris
Hovey
Vice
President of Advanced R&D
Chris Hovey joined ROI Direct
in September, 1999 with the acquisition of OnPoint, Inc. Since 1996,
Mr. Hovey has been helping establish clients' e-commerce presences
using OnPoint's powerful, award winning e-commerce deployment platform.
As Vice President of Advanced R&D at ROI Direct, Mr. Hovey plays
a crucial role in helping to make ROI Direct synonymous with effective
e-commerce and online direct marketing services.
Mr. Hovey established a successful
systems integration company in San Francisco in 1992 and, through
seven years of dedicated service to middle market companies, has
developed a keen and thoughtful understanding of the unique business
challenges facing mid-sized companies and the value that service
outsourcing can deliver. Consolidating key relationships with middle
market customers such as Hello Direct and Peet's Coffee and Tea,
as well as with larger enterprise companies such as MCI and AMD,
Mr. Hovey has proven his ability to architect and develop powerful
and effective e-commerce solutions.
Mr. Hovey is a graduate of San Francisco
State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
